As a visual exploration of the perception of time, the processes by which this painting was made each engage with a heightened awareness of locality and temporality. Initiated as an exercise in psychogeography (dérive), Sara developed a series of consecutive interpretations of spatiotemporal visualisations in filmformat. The culmination of this undertaking is a short composite video in which all of the gathered footage is overlaid and played as one, expounding the theory of relativity by which all of time occurs simultaneously.

The final interpretation—a painting created by projecting the video onto two canvases—reflects an intimateunderstanding of spacetime, where moments morph into particles, entangled within the fabric of reality.
