A superimposition of the perceived and nonphysical over the extant.

These works are ruminations on erasure, entropy, and pixelation—the comparison between digital deletion and large-scale physical destruction. What remains? What kinds of distortions take place?
The act of continuous, time-consuming, directional wiping-away was integral to the making of these panels, leaving visible traces and marks which stain both the mylar and the emulsion. The materials deliberately allude to events of crisis, as the references imply a deeply embedded relationship with the digital realm.
